About Martha Stewart Center for Living
Martha established The Martha Stewart Center for Living at Mount Sinai Medical Center in New York with a mission to help older adults live healthier, longer lives. Serving to promote and facilitate access to health care resources while enhancing the public perception of aging, the Center creates a one-stop shop for patients and their caregivers. It provides ready access to specialist physicians who offer primary care for older adults. Patients have access to onsite specialists from more than 20 disciplines, including cardiology, gastroenterology, oncology, dermatology, orthopedics, and rheumatology, as well as onsite radiology and physical therapy services. In addition, the Center offers holistic living services such as tai chi, yoga, music therapy, nutrition planning, and fall prevention programs—all designed to support longevity and improve quality of life.
